Our Design Philosophy

Waste Management and Innovation
Sustainability doesn’t stop at sourcing—it’s embedded in our entire process. In our factory, we collect sawdust through heavy-duty extraction systems. This sawdust is compacted into briquettes using a Briquetting Machine, transforming it into CO2-neutral fuel for fireplaces and outdoor fire pits. These briquettes can also be used as garden compost—a true win-win solution that helps us reduce waste and support the environment.
Responsibly Sourced Timber
We’re passionate about sustainability. Our timber comes from responsible sources, including private native forests and NSW State Forestry, certified under the Australian Forestry Standards Chain of Custody (AS4707 – 2006). This ensures that the timber we use is harvested with care for ecological balance, conserving the natural diversity of our forests for generations to come.
Bespoke Furniture
We know timber inside and out—its natural beauty, tendencies, and the challenges it can bring to design and production. That’s why we’ve developed a trusted process that ensures the highest quality results from consultation to installation. Our ‘Made to Measure’ service isn’t just for individual pieces; it’s also perfect for commercial projects where design and functionality come together seamlessly.
Why Choose Us
When you choose Loughlin Furniture, you’re choosing more than just furniture. You’re choosing personalised service, exceptional craftsmanship, and a commitment to sustainability. Every piece we create is a testament to our dedication to quality and our love for what we do.
